I have tried to install this zip file through clockworkmod and every time I try it says that it has been installed correctly but I return to my program drawer and there is the default camera app. Does this camera app work with touchwiz?

  • rdean

    success install..tq very much..=]

    Hi, Steve Leach,
Yes this camera work with touchwiz. I think your phone still not in root status, and you only boot into stock recovery Mode. So you must root and install CWM Recovery into your S3.

I have been able to install several different roms including CM10 and newer versions of touchwiz Android 4.1. but I can not figure out what I am doing wrong. Clockworkmod says that the zip file has been installed correctly. I return to my program drawer and I do not have the second camera and gallery as mentioned in the instructions. Does it matter where the zip file is installed from? I run clockworkmod by holding power, volume up and the home button, install rom from sd and install from the download folder.

Help is appreciated! I am really looking forward to the photosphere!

flash the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean stock ROM and try again. :)

how to remove this flashable zip …..
    i have cwm installed…

    • rootgalaxys3iii

hi, what you mean for how to remove flashable zip?

  • Bernard Nguyen

The panorama mode has a weird pink flashing thing that happens with it, and it’s no where near as smooth as the original camera app. Photosphere is also kind of slow, but it’s awesome so I can’t complain.

    • rootgalaxys3iii

Hi, kerbii. try to paste the downloaded zip into internal storage, then search again. Some version of CWM Recovery not support external storage, so thats why you can found it.
